Easy Garlic Green Beans

GreenBeans

For your Friday fun, I give you my favorite green beans! You’re probably no where near as excited about these green beans as I am, but they are seriously right on up there with dark chocolate and McDonald’s french fries. [Clearly my diet needs to be reevaluated.]

They’re really quick and easy and can be made as fast side for your main dish! I think they go with most anything. They’re definitely garlicky and your family may avoid you for a few hours after eating it, but they’re worth it.

Easy Garlic Green Beans

1 pound fresh green beans

1 tbsp butter

1 clove garlic, minced

garlic powder (to taste…)

In a pan over medium-high heat, melt your butter and add the minced garlic. Let it cook until lightly golden. Add green beans, and sprinkle your garlic powder in. Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until tender-crisp. You don’t want soggy beans, but we’re not eating vegetable platter crisps either! Season to taste with salt and pepper, or sprinkle on almonds.

Enjoy!
